Press Release Body: New York , NY , August 19, 2008 -- The Art of Curves "brought curvy back", with the unprecedented success of last years plus size fashion show in New York City's Westside Loft. Scheduled to take place September 19th, 2008 at Manhattan's Studio 450, some of the Plus Industry's top designers as the well as the works of up and coming designers will be showcased. They are also incorporating networking and vendors, with a Shop-n-Soiree, pre and post show. Some Designers will be selling garments right off the runway.
This year, the Art of Curves will donate a portion of the proceeds to Dress for Success and Project (PCOS). Dress for Success is committed to promoting the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and career development tools needed to help women succeed in the work force and in life. Project PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), provides education and medical reference services by support groups, researchers and specialist.
The AOC is about a unified front among women. The company also trains women, that are interested in pursuing a modeling or just looking like one.
